According to information reported by the Serbian press, ASSE is close to an agreement to recruit Ognjen Mimović, right back of Red Star Belgrade. Born in 2004, the young defender exploded this season under the orders of Vladan Milojević, becoming one of the key elements of the Serbian champion. He notably scored a decisive goal against Bodo Glimt in qualifying for the Champions League.
According to Mozart Sporta transfer for an amount estimated at 5.5 million euros would be in advanced negotiations. Mimović could join the Greens after Red Star's last Champions League match against Young Boys Bern (January 29).

Mimović has already made 32 appearances for the Red Star first team, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His progress was slowed by a metatarsal injury in a match against Benfica last September, but he returned in time to help his side in the Champions League. Considered a player with high potential, he embodies the future at the right-back position.
