Donald Trump is officially the 47th president of the United States. Indeed, on Monday January 20, the inauguration ceremony was held under the dome of the Capitol in Washington. During this event, the Republican took the oath of office, succeeding Joe Biden. Upon his inauguration, Donald Trump promised to sign a decree ordering his administration to “recognize“the existence of only”two sexes”. A decision that echoes his campaign, where he had already promised to “put an end to the transgender delusion”.
Touche pas à mon poste seizes the gender debate
On the day of Donald Trump's inauguration, Cyril Hanouna met the columnists from Touche pas à mon poste on C8. For the occasion, he asked them for their opinion on the decree desired by the new president. Very quickly, two groups were formed. Gilles Verdez, for example, deplored this decision while Kelly Vedovelli supported the fact that there is only two sexes biologically speaking. Raymond Aabou then gave his opinion. “As for me on the 'transgender delusion', I think that's an extra sentence because I don't think it's a delusion. Afterwards, in the maternity ward, he is right, there are two sexes. When the child comes into the world, it is either a girl or a girl, there is no third sex” he said. A childish sentence which provoked laughter from his comrades.
