Before the reception of RC Strasbourg this Sunday, striker Neal Maupay presented himself at a press conference this Friday. The striker was asked about his role as a scorer and what coach De Zerbi asks of him.
Neal Maupay – The Best Of Neal Maupay spoke about his role as a leading striker under De Zerbi: “The important thing is to finish as high as possible in the championship. It is in this state of mind that I came. I can do better in terms of goals, I've done it before. My role is different in this team. Sometimes stats are good but they don't tell the whole story. My role is not that of a striker where I stay up front and the team plays for me. I have other field duties. Sometimes I have to stay high, sometimes I have to stall. This role doesn't bother me, and as long as the team works like that, I'm the happiest. Afterwards, I had a few situations where I think I need to do better. »
