Thiago Almada at OL with number 23
OL's first recruit in this winter transfer window, Thiago Almada will wear 23. A number that belonged to Lucas Perri for a year.
Olympique Lyonnais finally welcomes the first recruit of the winter transfer window. Indeed, after having partly reduced its workforce as Pierre wanted SageJohn Weaver fought to bring in one of his cracks from Botafogo. And after several weeks of rumors, Thiago Almada is officially an OL player. On Wednesday, the club announced the signing ofArgentine on loan (free) until the end of the season. The 2022 world champion strengthens Pierre's team Sage after winning the Copa Libertadores and the championship of Brazil with Botafogo. The midfielder arrives in France et Europe in order to accomplish new objectives at least during the next six months.
Perri will recover number 1 from Lopes
After packing his bags at Lyonthe 23-year-old footballer should begin acclimatizing to his new environment very soon. He should notably find one of his teammates in the national team, Nicolas Tagliafico. However, we still do not know when Thiago Almada will play his first meeting with the Rhone club, even if he should be registered for the reception in Toulouse on Saturday (9:05 p.m.). But the supporters ofOL should still discover it very soon at Parc OL under the Lyon jersey with the number 23 on the back. A number he wore during his debut as a professional player at Argentine club CA Velez Sarsfield and which was nevertheless not available between Rhône and Saône. With the departure of Anthony Lopes, Lucas Perri nevertheless agreed to give up number 23 to the Argentinian to recover number 1 for this second part of the season.
