Despite the stakes and the intensity imposed this Tuesday, in Marseille, the meeting between LOSC and OM was not very rich in disciplinary sanctions. Two Lille residents were still sanctioned.
After Yonne, LOSC traveled to the Marseille city, where their men had obtained a draw during the fifteenth day of Ligue 1 McDonald's. The same score was recorded this Tuesday (1-1), with the exception that the penalty shootout favored the Mastiffs (3-4), who had not won one for eight years. During this meeting, led by Clément Turpin, the intensity was certain, but the mistakes were few. Only three men, including two from Lille, were sanctioned.
Always very combative, Mitchel Bakker got the ball rolling during the second act, receiving a yellow card (54′) following excessive engagement in a duel with Cornelius. Bafodé Diakité was also caught by the patrol at the end of the match (90′) following an anti-play fault. He thus stopped a Marseille offensive. This second sanction is more embarrassing for the central defender, who records his second card in less than ten matches. The next one would mean suspension.

As a reminder, after 3 yellow cards in 10 matches, the player receives an automatic one-match suspension after going to the disciplinary committee. The sanction is always effective from the Tuesday following the passage in committee. Alexsandro and Jonathan David, all sanctioned in Auxerre, will be suspended in Strasbourg following this aspect of the regulations.
