Academy: Maxime Le Marchand back in a new role?
According to Ici Armorique, former Stade Rennes Maxime Le Marchand is back at the club to finish on BEF, before continuing with a special mission.
Stade Rennes sees the return of one of its veterans. Within an academy that has been undergoing major changes in recent months, Maxime Le Marchand returned to complete his training for the Football Coaching Certificate, according to Ici Armorique.
But that's not all. The Malouin retired a year ago, and would then also have another mission, that of managing young professionals, and monitoring players on loan from this summer. Winner of the 2008 Gambardella, Le Marchand has never played professionally at SRFC, and played in Le Havre, Nice, Fulham, Antwerp and Strasbourg.
