Refereeing choices which had a major impact on the game since we are talking about two different contentious situations. One saw obtain a penalty – stopped immediately by Rulli -, the other prevented OM from obtaining a penalty after analysis of the video. A few days after the final whistle of Marseille's victory, the Refereeing department ruled in favor of the Olympians.

The FFF invalidates another referee

In its penultimate weekly report, the Refereeing department of the French Federation decided to invalidate François Letexier's decision not to exclude Wilfrid Singo when he had wiped his crampons on Gianluigi Donnarumma. This time, it is Abdelatif Kherradji's turn to be found guilty of an error by his superiors. In its latest report, the FFF Refereeing Department confirmed that Amir Murillo's hand should not have been whistled.

« Contact between the hand and the ball occurs while the defender's arm comes down naturally after the aerial duel, without the defender taking any risks. In accordance with the Laws of the Game, the position of the arm at the time of contact can therefore be considered to be a consequence of the movement of the defender's body in this specific situation. The viewing at the edge of the field and the penalty were therefore not expected “, explained the DA. This statement has no immediate impact on the match anyway, except that it can reassure the supporters that they were right to cry foul.
