For several days, the severe cold has been present in the north-east of and therefore in . Météo France alerts announce that the department is still placed on yellow alert for this Wednesday morning.

The risk of ice still present in Moselle! The department is placed on yellow alert for this Wednesday, January 15, from 2:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Since this weekend, and in particular the night from Sunday to Monday, the department has been placed on yellow alert by the Moselle prefecture. This color indicates risks of “Snow-Ice” and “Extreme Cold”. Temperatures will drop to -3 degrees tonight. The light drizzle falling on the frozen ground in the south of the basin heads towards Alsace, and therefore Lorraine. Untreated sidewalks and roadways will be slippery for several hours, especially tonight.
