Everything went very well between the Girondin supporters in Granville, the leaders of the two clubs speak

This Saturday, in Granville, was a first. Indeed, supporters of the Girondins de could finally, officially, travel. To do this, the two groups of Bordeaux supporters, who signed a non-aggression pact, were each “parked” in a space around the field.

In detail, there were around 150 Ultramarines, and around 60 North Gate. Between the two groups, a few dozen meters, and obviously barriers. But everything went very well, and there were no incidents, as the press kept repeating.

Via Ouest-, the President of US Granville,
Benjamin Bahuwas satisfied with his organization, his club being used as a bit of a “guinea pig” for this event. Thus, there was necessarily an additional security cost.

“A group of supporters lit smoke bombs but there was no major incident. Everything has been done to ensure that both groups are well taken care of. The preparation for this match was time-consuming but it was measured against the risks that the meeting presented. The additional security cost? We will discuss with the League and the Federation on this subject.”

For his part, the vice-president of the Girondins, Arnaud De Carliwanted to thank all the speakers.

“Thanks to US Granville, to its President and all the club volunteers for their welcome. We were extremely well received. A special thank you for allowing our two groups of supporters to encourage our team in very good conditions. They were able to push our players from the first to the last minute with an impeccable state of mind!!! Thanks everyone!!! »

In the end, the match had 3193 entries. This is the best attendance since the 2018 Coupe de France match. Against Bordeaux. Already.
