Nantes continues to be active in this transfer window. After enlisting experienced goalkeeper Anthony Lopes (34) from Lyon, the current 14th in Ligue 1 should quickly see the arrival of Reims striker Amine Salama. While discussions had begun this week, an agreement was reached this Saturday evening, as part of a loan with a purchase option, the amount of which has not been disclosed.
According to our information, the former Dunkirk player could arrive as early as Sunday to sign his contract. His profile had been validated by coach Antoine Kombouaré who wanted reinforcement up front.
At 24, Salama had been followed for some time by the Nantes recruitment unit. Since the start of the season in Reims, he has played 15 matches in all competitions, without starting in Champagne.
Nantes, for its part, is still flirting with the red zone (14th with 16 points), after having snatched two draws in a row, against Lille then Monaco on Friday.
