The Gabonese international Denis Bouangarising MLS star with Los Angeles FCcould be tempted by a return to Ligue 1 during this winter transfer window. At 30, the former striker of AS Saint-Étienne is coming off an exceptional season with 20 goals and 10 assists in 32 regular season games. Its market value is now estimated at 10 million euros par Transfermarkt.
A coveted profile in France
Despite a current contract until December 2027 with the Californian club, Denis Bouanga has never hidden his desire to return to play in France. His name is regularly mentioned during transfer windows, clubs like Marseille or Lens having already expressed their interest in the past. This time it is the Stade Rennais FC who would be in the running according to Foot Mercato. The Breton club, in difficulty in Ligue 1, is increasing its recruits to strengthen itself with the arrivals of Fofana School et Brice Samba.
An XXL salary to convince
To attract Denis BouangaRennes will however have to be very convincing financially. The Gabonese international emerges 2.3 million euros net per year.
