Once again in a super-sub role, Trevis Dago scored his fourth goal of the season in Ligue 2, the sixth in all competitions, during Annecy's narrow victory at Ajaccio (1-2), Friday for the 17th day of Ligue 2. A goal with serious consequences. Explanations.
Dago offers victory to Annecy
After Bastia and Lorient, it was once again coming off the bench that Trevis Dago found the net. Entering shortly after the hour mark, the striker on loan from LOSC came to offer victory to Annecy at the end of regulation time in Ajaccio, by heading in a cross from Antoine Larose (1-2, 89′) . Before that, Yohann Demoncy opened the scoring in the second minute of play (0-1, 2′), to which Aboubakary Kanté responded by equalizing after a corner (1-1, 10′).
Thanks to this success, obtained against the run of play, Annecy continues its crazy season by scoring 30 points halfway through. A total synonymous with fourth place, just one length from the podium. On the Corsican side, this defeat led to the dismissal of Matthew Chabertthe technician who arrived on the AC Ajaccio bench last summer. Penultimate and worst attack in the championship, the Aceist club is in the middle of a sporting crisis and in the grip of major financial difficulties.
