I took on this challenge because the managers have confidence in me and for me Caen has everything of a Ligue 1 team. Some were skeptical because of my age, but as soon as they saw me play, they were understood that football cannot be lost. Certainly, I struggled physically when I arrived. It's a personal challenge to come back to France, and to prove that I can still perform. »
With his 22 caps for the French team, the midfielder displays great determination for his expected return in the second half of the season: “I'm feeling better and I'll be back after the winter break to get back on the pitch with the team. My goal is to give everything and make Stade Malherbe Caen proud. What matters above all is to satisfy the managers. The supporters with whom I have interacted know that I give everything to wet the jersey, and that is what they notice first. Now I want to return the favor on the pitch. »
