While the Marquinhos gang will try to afford a new cut, the Parisian leaders are working on the transfer window to bring out the undesirables and make moves. When flying to Qatar, Luis Enrique was questioned by the club's media about the upcoming transfer window.
Luis Enrique validates the Parisian squad
For the Spanish technician, despite the disappointing results of the LDC, PSG does not need to recruit that much. “As you know, the transfer window is like that. We are always open to the idea of expanding our team, but today, after seeing my players train, I realize how lucky I am to be coach of a club with this quality, this ambition and the level of the players. It's a pleasure for me. Of course, if we can expand the team, we will try to do so,” assured Luis Enrique.
“But it’s a very tough mission, especially during transfer periods. Top players are not available. It's already hard in the summer, but it's even harder now. We always want to improve, but we remain calm, because we see the way the team and the club are developing and I think we will continue to improve the level of our performances, a level which is already very high,” concluded the PSG coach.
