If the Turkish press got excited at Christmas with the pronounced interest of Galatasaray and the offer refused by OL (€17 million excluding bonus) for Georges Mikautadze, the Georgian took advantage of his press conference two days before Montpellier match to reestablish some truths about his personal case.
“I’m not going to leave yet.”
As we told you as soon as the Turkish rumor came out, Georges Mikautadze has no desire to pack up this month of January: “I arrived six months ago, I'm not going to leave yet. I am focused on OL, on the match against Montpellier on Saturday. I don’t pay attention to what is said elsewhere.” The message is clear and Galatasaray should hear it and move towards another target to compensate for the serious injury of Mauro Icardi, out until the end of the season.
