Not so long ago… Rudi Garcia refused to return to LOSC

Former coach of LOSC, which he led to success in 2011, Rudi Garcia recently confided that the opportunity to make his return had been offered to him. However, in his eyes, this was not yet the time.

More than ten years ago, from 2008 to 2013, Rudi Garcia (60 years old) made LOSC shine on the national scene by winning a historic double at the end of the 2010-2011 season. A few years later, after having defended the standard of five teams across the globe, he found himself without a bench, but is not yet ready to hang it up: “I’m always motivated”he said again ten days ago during an interview with the media Carré.

But where could Rudi Garcia bounce back? His former clubs could be an option, like LOSC. However, the time should have come: “In , why not, because it remains my country. But now that I have done , and , it is not so easy to come backhe smiles. All the projects, and the big French clubs, I don’t close the door to anyone. I could come back to a club where I have already been, why not, even if I refused LOSC not that long ago. It wasn't the time and I didn't return to it. But come back to Lille, or elsewhere, why not, without problem”assures the one whose last experience was brief near Naples (4 months), in Italy.

Still as ambitious despite the years, Rudi Garcia still hopes to be able to discover new horizons:
“Before returning to France, I have a slight preference for the Premier Leaguediscover it,
or go to Spainwhich is the country of my ancestors. Not coaching in Spain with a name like that (Garcia), it's still a shame in a career
he laughs.
It probably fits my game more as well. I have to make choices that motivate me and please me, which is not always easy. The French team is a dream, obviously, but it is in very good hands at the moment and the name of the successor is already known.concludes Rudi Garcia, ready to roll up his sleeves to experience new challenges.
