The winter transfer window officially opened its doors this Wednesday January 1 and it once again promises to be very hectic for Olympique de Marseille. OM must indeed strengthen itself in the defensive sector. FCMarseille offers you its good transfer window plans with a Brazilian at the central defender position.
Please note, this is “Bon Plan Mercato” proposed by the editorial staff of Football Club de Marseille. To date, this is not a current option for OM for the next transfer window.
Summer recruitment on the defensive level has in fact been far from being satisfactory since the start of the season. At the central defender position, Lilian Brassier is notably one of the big disappointments of this first part of the season. The former Brest player was even completely excluded from the starting lineups of Roberto De Zerbi who has not started him since November 8 and a match against Auxerre where he was guilty of a gross blunder on Auxerre's first goal .
Vitãocentral defender of the Brazilian club Internacional, could be an excellent idea to strengthen the Marseille defensive sector during the winter transfer window. This option is in any case potentially feasible for OM. Here is the journalist's portrait of the player Dominique Baillif (@BaillifD)
Focus on Vitão

Who is he?
An explosive profile valued at 18 million euros?
Our colleague Dominique Baillif (@BaillifD) checked off this good plan in central defense. He describes a versatile player, capable of playing on the right or left axis and who could compete with, or even numerically replace, a player like Murillo:
« He has a bit of the same characteristics as Murillo. He knows how to project himself forward, he doesn't hesitate to move up when he can and we know that, in today's Marseille playing system, we have seen Murillo do it often. I think that Vitão, with his athletic qualities of speed but also defensive qualities, because he is a strong player who can secure a defense, could be a good reinforcement for Olympique de Marseille in this position. He is a player who was already approached last summer by Betis Sevilla, who offered 8 million euros, but that did not happen because Internacional asked for a little more. West Ham, Villarreal and Nottingham Forest also made inquiries, but he ended up staying at the club. It is therefore a profile which, in itself, in a central defense, can bring its athletic and defensive qualities straight away and can, from time to time, bring its touch of madness and its excess in the offensive phase.«
