Arriving last summer at USBCO, versatile midfielder Teddy Averlant established himself in the space of a few months as one of the centerpieces of Fabien Dagneaux's system. To the point of already arousing the interest of professional teams.
If Boulogne is having a blast in the National, where it occupies the top of the ranking with AS Nancy Lorraine, thanks to the collective expression of its qualities, some individuals also manage to do well. We think of the scorer Thibault Rambaud of course or to goalkeeper Yannick Pandor. But also to Teddy Averlant.
For his discovery of the National, the former OSQ and Furiani, who was one of Dagneaux's summer priorities, hits the screen. Established during each of the 14 days played, in an axial role or on the right side of Boulogne, the midfielder was also able to be decisive (3 goals, 1 assist) contributing to the excellent first part of the season of the USBCO.
At 25, he is fully expressing his potential. Able to defend, center, score, his ability to string together efforts is valuable in a group where no one is reluctant to put on the warm-up blue. In any case, his performances do not go unnoticed.
Under contract until 2026, Averlant is arousing desire. If teams at the top of the National rankings have inquired, his future could be written one level higher where there are numerous candidates for his arrival… But rather from next summer; the USBCO has indeed been clear: no one should leave this winter.
