Despite its colossal budget, PSG is not neglecting its training center. The Parisian club is banking on all the talents in the Paris region, including the children of its former players as is the case with Kais Anelka.
For a young player, it is not easy to make a name for himself at Paris Saint-Germain since 2011. Even if the big stars have somewhat deserted the Parisian squad this season, places are rare and expensive with the demanding Luis Enrique. Some talents from the training center have suffered a lack of recognition in Paris since the arrival of QSI, having to go into exile to finally explode like Moussa Diaby, Yacine Adli or even Tanguy Kouassi (Nianzou). It will perhaps be simpler with a name already known in the world of football and in the Parisian environment, that of Anelka.
Kais Anelka awaits his turn at PSG
The son of the former French striker, Kais, joined the PSG training center in 2023. Also a striker, the 16-year-old young man is progressing within the Parisians' U17 team. Questioned by PSG TV, Nicolas Anelka wanted to be calm and patient regarding his son's career development. Paris SG has all the confidence to develop Kais and bring him into the professional world in the best possible way.
« I know the quality of the trainers. That's why I wanted to bring him to PSG. I know he has potential, but there is still a long way to go. He works quietly, gently, surely. The fact that I am often in Paris allows me to see him play. I think he's happy, he's also a PSG supporter. He is happy to play with quality players », blurted out the former Chelsea scorer. Not skipping steps is an essential condition for success even if Nicolas Anelka has debunked this theory. At his son's current age, he already played his first match in Ligue 1 with PSG before a transfer a year later to Arsenal.
