thunderclap for the future of Presnel Kimpembe

Presnel Kimpembe, long considered a pillar of the Parisian defense, could live out his last months at PSG. Returning to competition after a long absence, the central defender is struggling to convince Luis Enrique and finds himself at the heart of speculation for the winter transfer window.

A complicated relationship with Luis Enrique

Since his gradual return to the group, Kimpembe has failed to establish himself. Although he trains daily and has been called up for a few matches, notably against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, his playing time remains limited. Internally, the French international would have expressed his dissatisfaction with the precautions taken by the staff. This behavior would not have pleased Luis Enrique, known for his demands and his desire to deal with fully involved players.

PSG ready to turn the page

Under contract until 2026, Presnel Kimpembe is now being pushed out. The physical state of the 2018 world champion continues to worry Parisian leaders, who would consider selling him this winter. Several European clubs are already in the running, including AC Milan, Atlético Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United, who see him as an experienced and versatile defender.

An uncertain future

If a transfer does not materialize this winter, PSG could try their luck again next summer. For his part, Kimpembe wants to prove that he still has his place in such a competitive squad, but time is running out for the native of Beaumont-sur-Oise, whose future seems to be moving inexorably away from the capital.

Supporter of En Avant de Guingamp, the best of the Breton clubs, I prefer to meet Yannis Salibur, Cristophe Kerbrat or Jeremy Sorbon rather than Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi or Sergio Ramos.
