According to the latest information from RMC Sport, Medhi Benatia is preparing to become the new sporting director of theMarseille Olympica logical development given his growing influence within the club. His appointment, confirmed internally although not yet formalized, will be accompanied by a contract aligned with the duration of De Zerbi's mandate, approximately two and a half years.

Benatia, former advisor to President Pablo Longoria, sees this promotion as an opportunity to structure a global sports policy for the entire club. A first step was taken with the departure of Marco Otero and the arrival of Lassad Hasni, a strong sign of alignment between the sports management and the training center, a point to which Benatia was particularly keen.
