After a disappointing first season at the head of the Al-Duhail club in Qatar, Christophe Galtier now occupies the position of leader of the championship. His performances could also lead him to a position of coach.

During the summer of 2023, Christophe Galtier left Saint-Germain and the European continent at the same time. A few months later, he actually took charge at Al-Duhail, a prestigious club in Qatar. His first season, however, did not go as planned, finishing in sixth place in the championship. The following exercise is more pleasing for the technician, who is now leading the championship. After 10 days, his club is 4 points ahead of Al-Saad, where Adam Ounas plays today.

Christophe Galtier (58 years old) has led 42 matches since his arrival in Qatar, gleaning an average of 1.67 points per match, less than at (1.74), (1.84) or Paris Saint-Germain (2.16). The last named, in difficulty, seems to have condemned the team to go through the fourth qualifying round to compete in the 2026 World Cup in the United States. Qatar is currently 4th (out of 6) in its qualifying group for the next World Cup, nine points behind leader Iran, with only 4 matches remaining. Christophe Galtier, former coach of LOSC (2017-21), OGC Nice (2021-22) and Paris Saint-Germain (2022-23), was in any case surveyed.
