In fact, 55% of viewers of this shock would have watched the meeting illegally. And yet, ARCOM had decided to carry out a “punch operation” by blocking 340 illegal domain names before this poster.

Present this morning at ARCOM headquarters, Benjamin Morel, general director of LFP Media, did not hide his concern on this subject: “This is a top priority subject, a very worrying situation! We are in a context of dangerous shift. Since the start of the season, we have been facing a phenomenon of unprecedented scale… and I weigh my words. In such a context, DAZN, broadcaster of most of our matches, suffers from pirate competition while the interest in L1, its flagship product, is undeniable. Prices cannot in any way justify piracy which is theft and, I remind you, illegal” he said. Not sure, however, that this phenomenon will be revised downwards in the coming weeks…
