The Navigo pass will cost 88.80 euros on January 1, 2025 compared to 86.40 euros currently, according to France Bleu Paris.
Other subscriptions will also bear the brunt of inflation.
Bad news for Navigo pass users. According to France Blue Paris (new window)the monthly fare for the transport ticket could increase from 86.40 euros to 88.80 euros on January 1. At issue: a protocol signed between Ile-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) and the State in September 2023, which provides for possible increases depending on inflation.
In detail, the price of the annual pass would increase to 976.80, an increase of 26.40 euros. “The Imagine'R pass will cost 9.90 euros more, reaching 384.30 euros. And Imagine'R junior will increase to 16.80 euros compared to 16.40 euros today“, specifies the radio. This new pricing will be submitted to the budget vote on December 11.
A single rate on January 1
According to the protocol signed in 2023, regular price increases are planned until 2031. But they must not exceed “l’inflation +1%”. With inflation for 2025 forecast at 1.8%, the price increase is set at 2.8% as of January 1. In 2024, the Navigo pass had already increased by 2.30 euros.
This increase in the Navigo pass will not be the only novelty for users in 2025. The regional transport authority Ile-de-France Mobilités will in fact set up a single price, with a metro, train or RER ticket for 2, 50 euros throughout the Paris region.

As a result, the ticket will be more expensive in Paris itself – where it is currently sold for 2.15 euros each or 1.73 euros per book of ten. A notebook that itself will disappear.
