5th day of the Champions League

Bologna – : 1-2

Goals: Mukau (44th and 66th) for Lille; Lucumi (63rd) for Lille

Winner of this weekend in Ligue 1, LOSC confirmed its excellent current form, including on the European scene. Already very well positioned in the standings, Bruno Genesio's men won a precious victory on the lawn of Bologna, which acts as a little thumb in this Champions League with only one point. Lined up in midfield, Mukau opened the scoring in the first half and allowed the Mastiffs to return to the locker room with a one-goal lead. Lucumi's equalizer on the hour mark could have made LOSC lose their footing, but Jonathan David's teammates showed superb mentality to snatch victory thanks to a double from Mukau, just three minutes after the Italian equalization. A very good move for Lille, which consolidates its place in the qualifying zone for the play-off.
