Then, he mentioned former Bordeaux players, whom he faced with the Central African Republic, the Gabonese David Sambissa, Bruno Ecuele Manga, and Jacques Ekomié.
“When we played against Gabon, I spoke with Sambissa, and with Bruno (Ecuele Manga). Besides, I took their jerseys. Unfortunately, Sambissa was knocked out (laughs). I hope he is well. He was cut up by our left back, he had to come off after 15-20 minutes. And Bruno, true to himself… Frankly, a clean, correct match, nothing to say. It was a good match but unfortunately we lost on a penalty. I don't know Jacques Ekomié, so I haven't spoken to him. Sambissa, I spoke to him because we were together in reserve. He's really the brother. Bruno, I know him because when I leave Dijon, he arrives. And I know him because he's Bruno Ecuele Manga after all… Besides, he was super nice because at the end, he encouraged us. He told us 'go ahead guys, you have to do it, you're going to do it, I have confidence in you, good luck'. And that’s a huge pleasure. This means that he follows the Girondins, and that’s great.”
