I have to return to Brazil to take care of my little boy, Pedro, who is autistic. Since he was diagnosed with autism, I have been fighting for this cause. This is the reason why I already left France for Brazil. There has been a lot of development over the last four months and Pedro has regressed a lot, and… I apologize to you, to my teammates, the supporters, the club, but I can no longer be on the pitch to help you , with this situation at home. It's not easy to come home and see your wife crying. We spoke with my wife and we discussed the possibility of me staying until January, and her going back to Brazil to wait for me, but I can't leave her alone to fight for this cause. That’s why I made the decision to leave, and I was very happy to have come back to this house.”
