Fernando, what does it mean to you to be present for the 80th anniversary of LOSC?
I am full of emotions. This club is in the best moments of its history. We are experiencing some crazy matches. This 80th anniversary party shows the level reached by the club. The flame is lit We must not give up, continue. This is just the beginning of a great adventure. Great things await us. The club will give everything with passion, love and its values. With these additional supporters, the communion of all, LOSC will have a very good run and a very good path in the Champions League. We are all here so that the fire never goes out.
What impresses you the most about the evolution of LOSC since your time at the club?
Passion! More and more, the Mastiffs, the goddess, they are even more with us, because we represent the values of the club, the values of the North, very well. The club is really on the right path.
More than a former player, you seem to be a big supporter of LOSC today…
I never left Lille, I always consider myself to be from Lille. My family in Argentina asks me what I can possibly have with LOSC. I tell my mother in particular that I am part of the soul of LOSC. I consider myself to have the same club values. I am happy every time I come here. I will be in every fight, in good times and bad. For life. I have the sacred fire, I am in love with LOSC. I thank LOSC for giving me the opportunity to be part of its history. I also thank LOSC for allowing me to create my family in Europe. I have my wife, my children. LOSC gave me a chance and I gave it everything. It will be like this for life.
