Mercato – PSG: Will an offer of €70M go to a goalscorer?

The PSG transfer window is likely to be lively over the coming weeks, or even months. The capital club is seeking to strengthen itself in the offensive sector and would thus explore several avenues. Parisian leaders would be thinking in particular of Viktor Gyökeres. Another suitor for the Swedish striker should, however, take action to try to recruit him.

The PSG will have his work cut out for him in the transfer window. If summer recruitment was rather interesting, the workforce of Luis Enrique remains incomplete. The void left by the free departure of Kylian Mbappé Real Madrid is still felt. The capital club notably lacks a real scorer, capable of making Parisian actions come true. Randal Cole Muani disappoints more and more and Gonçalo Ramos has just returned from his ankle injury.

PSG keeps an eye on Gyökeres

PSG would therefore scan the transfer market in search of a new top striker. Several names were thus mentioned, including that of Viktor Gyökeres. Author of a sensational first part of the season with the Sporting CP (24 goals in 19 games), the Swedish striker continues to shine and get noticed in the transfer window. THE PSG would therefore view his arrival favorably.

FC Barcelona will soon draw out its offer

But as reported SPORTthe FC Barcelona would also be on the spot. The Catalan club is also preparing an offer for Viktor Gyökeres. Despite the 26-year-old striker's €100 million release clause, the Barça would like to draw only €70M. The Blaugrana team would, however, be ready to let Viktor Gyökeres on loan to Sporting CP an entire season, since Robert Lewandowski still meets the expectations placed on him in Catalonia. It remains to be seen whether the Portuguese team will be tempted by such an operation. THE PSGfor his part, is on the lookout. To be continued…
