On the eve of challenging Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena for the 5th day of the Champions League, PSG made an important signing official this Monday.

PSG strengthens its partnership with Aspetar

This Monday, Saint-Germain announced the extension of its partnership for two additional seasons with the Aspetar orthopedic surgery and sports medicine hospital.

“Paris Saint-Germain and the Aspetar orthopedic surgery and sports medicine hospital are pleased to announce the extension of their partnership for two additional seasons. Building on a collaboration of more than a decade, the two partners reaffirm their commitment to excellence in care and the well-being of athletes. This renewed partnership allows Paris-Saint Germain players to continue to benefit from medical evaluations and personalized care provided by Aspetar experts, a world reference in sports medicine,” writes PSG on its official website.

For more than ten years, the capital club and Aspetar have been partners. The collaboration between the two parties will therefore continue. This season, Gonçalo Ramos and Lucas Hernandez notably benefited from Aspetar's expertise for their rehabilitation, which allowed them to return to collective training in complete safety. This renewal allows Paris SG players to continue to benefit from high-level medical care.

Personalized assessments, which consist of in-depth examinations tailored to each athlete, make it possible to quickly identify possible injuries and implement a tailor-made treatment plan. Gonçalo Ramos, for example, highlighted the importance of the personalized support he received at Aspetar, which allowed him to return to the pitch more quickly than expected.

The Doha-based clinic is globally recognized in the field of sports medicine. It has been accredited by the International Olympic Committee as a “Research Center for Injury Prevention and Athlete Health Protection.” » It has also been designated a “FIFA Center of Medical Excellence.” » Quite logically, PSG Director of Partnerships, Nicola Ibbetson, enthusiastically welcomed this extension.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with Aspetar, an institution that shares our values of excellence and innovation. For more than ten years, we have worked together to ensure our athletes receive the highest level of care, and we look forward to continuing this important work together,” said Nasser Al-Khelaïfi’s collaborator.
