Bun (5): if he is not flawless on goal, where Bakwa adjusts it quite easily, he was generally reassuring, especially in the air. He neatly captured a full-axis shot from Mara (72') and picked up hot balls from a corner at the end of the match.

Ratchet (4): either he didn't see Boudaoui's positioning, or he completely missed his pass. What is certain is that his unsteady ball was the cause of the goal conceded (20'). It recovered well afterwards with activity and several interesting centers, notably for Guessand.

Bombito (6): complementary to Dante, the Canadian was clean and covered a few situations thanks to his speed. He got confused on the side (67'), but his loss of the ball was well compensated by his teammates.

Dante (7): constantly well placed, he annihilated a bunch of offensives. A superb tackle to cut an opening in depth (27') and well-felt bursts to reassure his team. Late once, which earned him a yellow. Still as reliable and solid.

Bard (7): he often defended well, especially against Bakwa who tried to clear him in the box at the end of the first period. Duels won and a goal (54'): his call from deep is good and his left finish perfect to allow the Aiglons to get back in contact. Close to the double on a full-axis strike at the end of the match.

Boudaoui (5): he did not always shine with waste in the passes, especially in the first period, but filled the gaps well with his activity (7 scratched balls). A vicious strike at the start of the second half when the Gym struggled to be dangerous. Encouraging for a return match after his injury (hamstrings).

Rosario (4): the Dutchman had a lot of waste at the start of the match with several passes in the wrong timing or the wrong area. Better in second in the fight and the raking, even if he loses another ball full axis before receiving a yellow for a big tackle while trying to catch up…

Diop (8): we felt him gaining momentum and he confirmed it. If he sometimes had difficulty finding his place in the three-man midfield in the first half, he showed his quality of passing after the break. His opener slammed for Bard on the first goal is a model of its kind and another of his passes pushes the Alsatian Sylla to deceive his own goalkeeper. He is becoming more and more influential. Replaced by LABORDE (74'), who almost tripled the lead in added time.

For (5): he tries, proposes, provokes… but his choices are rarely crowned with success. He often tends to be stubborn in his dribbling without enough variety and struggles to be fair. Despite everything, he managed to bring in sequences with a few crosses and passes which created danger. Replaced by BOUANANI (88’).

Guessand (6): he has long been the most dangerous Nice resident with accuracy in his choices. Difficult to move with his back to goal, he also hurt with his percussion and was often on the receiving end of crosses. All he lacked was accuracy in the area or around it to be even more impactful.

Has (2): the Ivorian went through this match like a shadow. Unlike Cho who tried a lot, he made no noticeable difference and carried the ball too often before resigning himself to giving it away. It slows down the game more than it speeds it up. Replaced by NDOMBELE (74’).
