Eager to put pressure on Paris FC (1st) and Lorient (2nd) by winning against Clermont, Metz is immediately cooled in Montpied. On a short free kick, Baaloudj manages to head backwards and lob Oukidja. The Garnets have resources, and Ibou Sané ends up in the empty goal following very good work from Elisor. Magnin found the post five minutes before the break, Cheick Konate barely missed the Metz target, and in the end, the two former Ligue 1 residents shared the points. (1-1)
Despite qualifying for the Coupe de France, Martigues does not take long to fall back into its failings in Ligue 2. After an exceptional run from Kokolo on the left flank, the latter perfectly serves Camara who tackles to conclude the offering and open the score in favor of Laval. A true surface fox, Tchokounté follows well after a save from Marillat and doubles the lead before Doucouré comes to confirm Laval's victory. (0-3)
At Nouste Camp, the game gets carried away quickly between Pau and the Red Startwo teams that are not in the habit of closing up shop this season. Served by a caviar from Mille, Mboup achieves a superb control on the coat rack and adjusts Beunardeau to launch the hostilities. Opposite, Eickmayer responds with a dry strike on which Kamara can do nothing and the Audonians return to 1-1. Well on their way to snatching the point from a draw, the Red Star ended up cracking fifteen minutes from time. Mboup with a double, then Ngom with a jewel and Diawara with a penalty offered a very important success to the Béarnais. (4-1)
Caen wants to take advantage of its return to d'Ornano to collect points before two consecutive trips, but Caen is clearly not in the best position. Lebreton makes a mistake on his back pass, Baldé intercepts and deceives Clémentia in two stages to give the advantage to Rodez. With confidence, the Ruthenois doubled the lead through Bouchouari, then Thomas immediately put Malherbe back in the fight at the heart of a fiery end to the first period. The Caennais think they have done the hardest part by equalizing through Brahimi, without counting on the inevitable Nkada who scores his eighth goal of the season. His eighth of the season, but not the last of the game. At the end of the suspense, on the very last action of the match, Meddah deceives Mpasi and snatches the draw point for SMC. (3-3)
Ligue 2 stopped for two weeks, but GuingampAlpha Sissoko has not lost his good habits however. The best passer in the championship achieves a seventh and finds Siwe who cuts at the near post with a well-felt diving header to take the advantage against Amiens. Another trend at the start of the season on the Costa Rican side, Hemia made the break thanks to a nice shot from outside the area which found Gurtner's small net. The EAG complicates the task when Naïr receives a red card for a high foot on the leg of Kaïboue, and yet it is the locals who score the third goal of the game: Picard crosses towards Siwe for the double. (3-0)
At the Stade de l’Aube, theESTAC et Grenoble struggle to get in tune with a hectic multiplex. Despite a few timid chances on both sides, neither team managed to find the fault and the game ultimately ended with a goalless draw. (0-0)
