The poster between PSG and Monaco was moved to Ligue 1 to make room for the champions trophy. This allows BeIN Sports to achieve a double blow.
Broadcasting only one match per day, BeIN Sports inevitably has a little difficulty finding its place while DAZN has recovered all the other matches, and often the great posters like the recent OM-PSG or the OL-ASSE derby. However, next month's schedule left a great, unexpected opportunity for the Qatari channel, which rushed to seize it. Indeed, the Ligue 1 match between Monaco and PSG was to be broadcast during the weekend of January 4 and 5, 2025, and to be the poster of the day on DAZN.
But due to the scheduling of this same meeting in Qatar for the Champions Trophy, the match was moved to Wednesday December 18, 2024 at 9:00 p.m. A change of program which allows BeIN Sport to recover the PSG meeting in Ligue 1, which is not so frequent. And in addition for a beautiful poster which will allow the sports channel to present the Parisian club twice in a few days, since there will be the 32nd final match of the Coupe de France scheduled for the weekend of December 21. A tough schedule but which will allow Paris and Monaco to then have a little free time at the beginning of January to be able to compete for the first trophy of the season, between 1st and 2nd of the last championship.
