And the guests of honor are… Noëlle Bréham and Florence Besson! For this new edition of book fairwhich will be held at the Fénélon high school, in Elbeuf, on Sunday November 24, 2024, the association Feathers in the Seine invited many authors, some of whom are not unknown.
Host of television shows (like Silence, ça push, on 5) and programs on France Inter, Noelle Bréham is also the author of four books. His latest work, Head in the air and feet on the groundparticularly reflects his love of nature.
Florence Bessonfor her part, is editor-in-chief of diversification at the magazine Elle. She has interviewed Hillary Clinton and actresses, and reported from around the world. In his second book, A week of silenceshe recounts the week she spent in a spiritual center after a stroke.
Featured authors
This year, Plumes en Seine has also chosen to highlight four women authors with extraordinary destinies and a faithful fan of the show, Fred Romanuikincluding the comic Nono and Moumoune is known to the general public. Leila Bashaïn, a committed woman, explores the place of women in society.
Adventurer Anne-France Dautheville, the first woman to tour the world on a motorcycle in the 1970s, will present Roll my hen! My magical motorcycle rides. Marie-Laure André, dietician and nutritionist, will share her health and well-being experience developed in numerous books. Finally, Nadège Erika, with her first book My little, relates the impossibility of mourning the loss of her child.
A rich program for all ages
Alongside these personalities, the texts of the authors present will cover all areas of literature: detective novels, historical novels, biographies and of course children's books.
Students from the reading class will be present to talk enthusiastically about the way they interact with livres. Children's authors Déborah Mirabel, Judith Peignen, Christine Lebel, Gaël Bordet and Rachel Hausfater will come and meet schoolchildren and college students in class. High school students, for their part, will have the chance to discover Maria Poblet, Chilean journalist and author, during a presentation in Spanish class.
