New setback for PSG in the Mbappé dispute!

Saint-Germain suffered a new setback in its financial dispute against Kylian Mbappé before the executive committee of the French Federation (FFF). According to AFP, the latter rejected the club's request, thus confirming its obligation to pay 55 million euros to its former player for unpaid salaries and bonuses. This decision follows that of the Professional Football League (LFP), which also agreed with Mbappé a few weeks ago.

PSG, which until now refused to pay this sum, can still file an appeal before an administrative court and seek conciliation via the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF). However, the club's position remains firm: it considers the situation unfair and cites harm caused by the player.

55 million euros at stake

This dispute dates back several months, when Mbappé, now a Real Madrid player, demanded payment of 55 million euros owed by PSG. Despite the LFP's favorable decisions, the club refused to comply, arguing that these verdicts are not legally binding. At the same time, Mbappé rejected any attempt at mediation, accentuating tensions between the two parties. PSG could now bring the matter before the industrial tribunal to challenge this payment obligation.
