The Nations League matches played this Monday made it possible to finalize the list of qualifiers for the quarter-finals and the names of the three potential opponents of the France team.
A big blow for the Blues. By winning on Sunday in Milan against Italy (1-3), France regained first place in Group 2 in the Nations League. If qualification for the quarters was acquired since the draw against Israel (0-0), the convincing success against the Nazionale will allow the selection led by Didier Deschamps to escape the “big ones” for the start of the final phase of the continental tournament. France will therefore not play immediately against Germany, Spain and Portugal.

In great danger and for a time virtually eliminated by Scotland, Croatia finally snatched its qualification for the quarter-finals of the Nations League A. But the draw of Luka Modric's partners against Portugal (1-1), despite Poland's defeat against Scotland (1-2) allowed it to qualify. Croatia will probably be the team to avoid in the quarterfinal draw.
Draw on November 22
In addition to the Vatreni, the Netherlands and Denmark complete the trio of opponents that the Blues could find on their way in the next round. The draw defended away by Denmark against Serbia (0-0) was enough to secure second place in the group behind Spain who defeated Switzerland (3-2).
However, we will have to wait for the draw scheduled for November 22 to know the name of the team which will challenge France in the quarter-finals of the Nations League. The double confrontation will take place on March 20 and 23 with a return duel at the Stade de France.
