After two and a half years, Lorenzo Insigne (33 years old) could well leave Toronto. Arriving in Canada in the summer of 2022 from Naples, the striker is looking around to evaluate new destinations. In recent days the former Italy international has met with his agents to take stock of his future, a meeting has been scheduled to develop a plan to follow from the January transfer window. With a contract expiring in June 2026 with Toronto, the Naples legend plans to leave Canada before the classic end of his lease with his club. There is no shortage of requests and there are already a few clubs in the window that are considering presenting a concrete proposal.

For Insigne, there have been some exploratory inquiries with clubs in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are once again targeting a quality player to raise the level of the championship.
