Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus Turin will negotiate several issues this winter. There is already the Milan Skriniar case. Not in Luis Enrique's plans this season, the Slovak defender requested his departure from the French capital. PSG should not oppose it, if an offer deemed satisfactory arrives on its table in January.
The former Inter Milan defender, who interests Freiburg in Germany, is especially strongly courted by Juventus Turin for this winter. With Bremer's injury, the Old Lady absolutely must recruit a new central defender in January and have made the Slovakian their priority.
Milan Skriniar said yes to Juventus but…
Milan Skriniar for his part would not be against a return to Italy and would even have said yes to Juve, according to information from Gazzetta dello Sport. An arrival on loan has been mentioned but it is not the priority of all parties, unless this loan is with a compulsory purchase option.
A transfer is still preferred but the cost of the latter could prove too expensive for Juventus. It therefore plans to make a sale before accelerating in the Milan Skriniar file. But this sale could also concern PSG.
PSG are interested in Nicolo Fagioli
Still according to the Italian media, the club from the French capital is indeed interested in the profile of Nicolo Fagioli. This young 23-year-old Italian midfielder has had irregular playing time since the arrival of Thiago Motta.
Suspended for seven months last season because of an illicit betting affair, he had a very good 2022-2023 season with 26 Serie A matches played for 3 goals and 3 assists. He is a talented midfielder, who can play as number 6, 8 or even 10 and who needs to be revived.
A Fagioli – Skriniar exchange?
La Gazzetta dello Sport thus evokes a possible exchange between Skriniar, valued at 20 million euros by Transfermarkt, and Fagioli, who is estimated at the same sum. This formula would be discussed internally. Note that two transfers of almost similar amounts could also be made.
In any case, these two deals would suit all parties with PSG, who want to get rid of Milan Skriniar and his big salary, and Juventus who have made the Slovak their priority in central defense. While for the two players concerned, a departure would seem beneficial for their development and their playing time.
Passionate about sport and from Toulouse, I am of course a supporter of the great TFC, which has more titles than OM and OL combined over the last ten years.
