The departure of Mostafa Mohamed from FC Nantes seems almost finalized for this winter. After changing agents at the end of October, the Egyptian striker recently expressed the wish to leave the Canaries this winter.
Mostafa Mohamed to Leicester
A few days ago, Africa Foot announced an almost complete departure to Leicester, in the Premier League. The English club wants to strengthen its offensive sector in January and appreciates the profile of the former Galatasaray player.
According to the same source, the Canaries were open to their striker leaving this summer but not at any price. An amount of 10 million euros was mentioned by the media specializing in African football.
FC Nantes ready to sell the Egyptian for less than €10 million
This amount is today refuted by Livefoot. The latter, who confirms the interest of Leicester and a probable departure of Mostafa Mohamed, ensures that Waldemar Kita is ready to study offers of less than 10 million euros.
The president of FC Nantes actually wants to secure a nice check, even less than 10 million euros, rather than trying to get the most out of it and perhaps derail the operation. Livefoot puts forward a few additional reasons.
The Canaries must sell this winter
“The player (Mostafa Mohamed, editor's note) has wanted to leave for many months. But above all because the club must secure itself financially in anticipation of a year 2025 which could be complicated”, we can read on this site specializing in the transfer window .
Note that FC Nantes could also make other good sales this winter thanks to Moses Simon or a Nantes striker, Ignatius Ganago, who is on the shelves of Panathinaikos.
Passionate about sport and from Toulouse, I am of course a supporter of the great TFC, which has more titles than OM and OL combined over the last ten years.
