The German player explained, Saturday, November 16, in a video on her club's social networks that she was going to concentrate fully on her convalescence and that she would be absent from the team for an indefinite period. “With the doctors here, I'm in good hands. It's a challenge I never thought I'd have to take on one day. But with everyone's help, I will overcome it, without a doubt“, she told her supporters.

In order to support her in this ordeal, the Bavarian club decided to extend her contract by one year, until June 2026.
