Live on Twitch, Adil Rami expressed some doubts regarding the absence of Ousmane Dembélé at the last gathering of the Blues.
Ousmane Dembélé, Paris Saint-Germain striker, had to leave the French team gathering after suffering a hamstring injury during the match against Angers (2-4 victory). Although the additional examinations were reassuring, the 27-year-old was released by the Blues staff to rest. However, this absence sparked comments, notably from Adil Rami, who shared his opinion on the issue of withdrawals from the national team.
“Well yeah, guys, you have to have your injuries noted”said Rami during a live on his Twitch channel. He stressed that players must take exams to determine if they are truly unavailable. “And also to find out if players don't want to play for the France team and fake their injury. It happens very often”added the former defender, while specifying that he was not targeting Dembélé in particular. According to him, this type of situation would not be rare, although he was careful not to name specific players.
