As reported by the Ligue 1 on its website, to find traces of three assists in the same match for a player from PSGwe had to go back to the 2022-2023 season and Neymar who had achieved this feat twice during the first and third day at
Clermont and to Lille.
Lionel Messi had been the first to achieve two offering hat-tricks during the 2021-2022 season (D15 to
Saint-Etienne and J31 to Clermont).
Bradley Barcola had also achieved this feat, but under the jersey of theOlympique Lyonnais during a spectacular Lyon victory against Montpellier (5-4). Number 29 of
PSG became the youngest player to score a passing hat-trick since 2007/08. He was also the last to have achieved a hat-trick of passes in Ligue 1 before Saturday evening.
