The defender of the French football team was once again talked about when he arrived in Clairefontaine this Monday.
The counter-foot is the favorite weapon of attackers on a football pitch. It is less appreciated by the defenders but Jules Koundé, the right back of the Blues, showed that he knew how to surprise this Monday, when he arrived at Clairefontaine.
A fashion fan, the Bordeaux player knows that his arrivals at Clairefontaine are expected and scrutinized, as the Barça player dares to wear unexpected outfits to join the French team. In September, after his heeled ankle boots deemed too feminine by part of the Internet last May, the player hit the nail on the head by wearing a black skirt by British designer Simone Rocha.
During the last gathering of the Blues, Koundé was particularly stylish but he was sober, the looks and comments having mainly targeted Ibrahima Konaté who had gotten out of his taxi with a sort of green hood on his head. The young Bradley Barcola stood out for his beret…
But, this Monday, Jules Koundé was talked about again and will once again fuel the “fashion” column of his arrivals at the French team's training center. This time, the Blues defender wore… a vintage French team tracksuit top from the 90s.
An item of clothing that is undoubtedly antique and which should satisfy those who were demanding, in certain media, a little more sobriety from the Blues and an arrival “in a tracksuit”!
