PSG has opened another academy on African soil. The Ile-de-France residents settled in Morocco with the help of Achraf Hakimi.
Paris Saint-Germain today celebrated the inauguration of the PSG Academy in Morocco. On the occasion of this significant event, Achraf Hakimi, emblematic PSG defender and figure of Moroccan football, honored this memorable day with his presence. The former Real player made the young kids of his country happy.
The PSG Academy Morocco, located in Tamaris, Casablanca, has been open since last September. It offers young Moroccans, girls and boys aged 4 to 18, quality training inspired by the training methodology of Paris Saint-Germain. Led by David Boulanger, experienced trainer, the Academy already has nearly 300 registrants and offers high-end facilities, with courts suitable for 5, 7 and 11 player game formats.

The links between Paris Saint-Germain and Morocco are reflected in a real common fervor for football. Morocco is the 10th country in terms of PSG supporters on social networks, with 4.9 million followers. The opening of this Academy in Morocco further strengthens this unique link between Paris Saint-Germain and this land passionate about football.
The inauguration day allowed the 300 young players and their families to experience a moment rich in emotion. On his arrival, Achraf Hakimi was welcomed by a guard of honor and interacted with the children of the Academy during a question-and-answer session, followed by official photos. The defender also kicked off the first official training session, marking the start of a new adventure for young Moroccan talents.
