[MHSC-SB29] Jordan Ferri: “We needed to be rewarded after all these weeks of work”

The Pailladin captain indeed spoke of the lack of results which undermined the morale of the troops before this finally successful match. Successful and above all, won with renewed spirit.

Ph. Sers : For once we're not subscribed to the gloom, it feels good… We put things in context, but hey, we can't ignore that!

J. Ferri: It feels good, we had to be rewarded for all these weeks of work where there was still improvement in the content of the matches, but we were not rewarded; I can tell you that we were very excited at this match in Le Havre where even a draw would have allowed us to show that all these efforts were not in vain. In any case, that happened today when we wanted to start the match very well and put a lot of pressure on them, that's what we were able to do and we were rewarded. Afterwards it remains a big team so they moved up a gear in the second half, we knew how to keep our backs round, we found defensive solidity and we managed to kill the match with two starters, it's symbolic but that good for the whole group.

Ph. Sers : Without getting into a technical debate, what stood out to most fans was, damn it, getting that jersey wet!

J. Ferri: Yes but anyway there are no secrets in football, if you cheat you cannot hope to get results at a high level; there everyone put their asses on the ground, the entrants did a lot of good so there you have it, it's a whole group, it's all together that we will save this club.
