World champion in 2018 with the France team, Hugo Lloris won the most beautiful trophy for a footballer. Indeed, he explains that the president of the club, Daniel Levy, gave them a watch with “Finalist” engraved on it: “Four days before the final, Daniel Levy called us all together to announce that with the support of a sponsor, we would each receive a luxury pilot's watch from the club. At first we were delighted, then we opened them and we discovered that he had the player's name and “2019 Champions League Finalist” engraved on the back of each watch. “Finalist”. Who does such a thing at such a time? ?” asks the goalkeeper, who compares his club with Real Madrid: “At the post-match reception at the hotel, I got the impression that some of the people at the club and some of the players were not disappointed enough to have lost. Real Madrid would never have celebrated a lost final“, he added. A confession that should not please Tottenham fans.
