On the substitutes' bench at the start of the match against Salzburg, Anis Hadj Moussa entered at the start of the second period to bring offensive freshness to his team which finished the first act trailing at home 1-0.
Feyenoord started their second period well, creating a few good chances to score, but on the hour mark, Hadj Moussa's teammates conceded a second goal from the visitors.
The Rotterdam club had another problem after this second goal from Salzburg, since Ivorian midfielder Nadje was excluded from the match following an ugly gesture on an opposing player.
Despite the numerical inferiority, Feyenoord pushed to try to reduce the score and the locals succeeded in their objective thanks to a superb goal from Hadj Moussa, the Algerian international followed a ball poorly repelled by the defense, dribbled an opposing defender before putting in a magnificent volley which left the opposing goalkeeper no chance.
Magnificent goal from Hadj Moussa:
A few moments after this goal, Salzburg had a penalty but striker Karim Konaté missed the opportunity to score his hat-trick during this match, but the visitors still managed to score a third and final goal in this match at the 86th minute by Guindo.
It should be noted that Algerian international midfielder Ramiz Zerrouki remained on the bench throughout the match, having been under fire from criticism since the start of the season in Eredevisie.
