The season of Girondins de Bordeaux is finally launched with an almost complete group. We are still awaiting validation of the transfer of Djibril Diaw and the return of injury Youssouf Assogba. The club and its coach Bruno Irles are still waiting for an attacker to support or replace Andy Carroll.
As for the reserve team playing in National 3, there too the squad is complete or almost complete. Younes Kaabouni is recovering and the team had Hunting in his group. The Gambian striker was in talks to possibly sign a new contract at the club. Finally Rio Mavuba et Paul Baysse
were able to hang up their crampons again after having repaired at the very start of the season.
It therefore took several weeks to consolidate two groups, after the wave of departures last summer, following the demotion of the team to National 2, the loss of pro status and the closure of the training center.
Several weeks after the closure of the summer transfer window, there are still several of them who have left the club and have not yet found a base or at least, have made the official announcement. However, some players seemed to have good luck or at least certain demands. They could also have been of service to the club at the time and for some of them.
Among the guards, Davy RouyardGuadeloupean international and Nicolas Bahoya (ex N3), are still without a club. In defense we also have several ex players without contracts. The central defender Tijany Atallah is one of them. However, he remained when the group was reduced to a few elements during the summer. In the former reserves, the right side Rohan Sadala Alain had still not found a buyer even though he was a widely used player, but according to our information he was in contact with Dunkirk. Cameron Constantcentral defender is without a club, after a blank season. In the former U19 Nationals, Merdi Nyembo is also without contract.
In the midfield, the former reserves Yanis Noel et Marwane Tahar are still without a club. Finally the young
Rodrigue Loa Toukam, true hope, is always free to sign wherever he wishes.
Finally, the attackers. Here too, there are several who currently have no challenge. We obviously think of
Marvin De Lima but he is not the only one.
Lucas Rocrou et David Tebili are still without a club and it's rather a surprise. The Gambian international Hunting trained with the National 3 group recently. Then there are those who are more experienced like Alberth Elis et Alexi Pitu. Finally we have three former U19 Nationals who are also still without a club. It is aboutDon't bendof Henoch Lusweki andElijah Owona.
