A social plan whose total cost is estimated between 6 and 7 million euros has been approved by the Girondins de Bordeaux and in all, 180 employees will leave their jobs. This Tuesday, November 5, marks a turning point in the recent history of the scapular club since Sud Ouest tells us that it is this Tuesday that the vast majority of employees affected by the social plan are leaving the club.

“In total, including professional players and young people from the center, 180 people will have left the Girondins between July 26 and the end of November” also recalls the local media. In mid-November, the socialist deputy Marie Récalde regretted the terrible human consequences of this social plan decided by the Girondins of Bordeaux. “We talked a lot about the sporting consequences, about the players and it was necessary, but behind a club like the Girondins de Bordeaux, there are dozens of people, families, real enthusiasts who have given years and years. It’s a real tragedy with serious human consequences” she confided, revolted by the situation of the Girondins de Bordeaux.

She is not the only one to regret such chaos, the thousands of supporters of the club with the scapular demonstrating their anger every day on social networks, mainly against the owner Gérard Lopez, mainly responsible for the current situation in the eyes of the supporters of the Navy and White. This Tuesday, however, it is time for tributes rather than anger to thank all these employees who have worn the colors of the Girondins, some for decades.
