After a forced departure from during last season, Régis Brouard remained without a club this summer, after having notably declined an offer from his former club, Quevilly – Métropole, another resident of National but above all a neighbor and rival of FCR. The two clubs share a common history after a merger which ended short, and both play at the Robert-Diochon stadium. Régis Brouard made a name for himself with the ancestor of QRM (which was called US Quevilly at the time) by taking the club from N2 to N1 by reaching the semi-final of the Coupe de in 2010.
