If the information from Le Parisien is confirmed, it risks causing some commotion in Seine-et-Marne. Régis Brouard would be very close to committing to the FC Rouena few days after the dismissal of Maxime D'Ornano and a defeat against Dijon in National (0-1).

After a forced departure from Bastia during last season, Régis Brouard remained without a club this summer, after having notably declined an offer from his former club, Quevilly – Rouen Métropole, another resident of National but above all a neighbor and rival of FCR. The two clubs share a common history after a merger which ended short, and both play at the Robert-Diochon stadium. Régis Brouard made a name for himself with the ancestor of QRM (which was called US Quevilly at the time) by taking the club from N2 to N1 by reaching the semi-final of the Coupe de France in 2010.
